Worth the price as a set

I bought these 3 books separately over time and the set ended up on my keeper shelf. I preferred two books over the third, but like the continuity of the story line. If you haven't read them yet, this bundle is definitely worth the price since each one is a full-length novel.

Thoroughly obsessed with this series

I started reading the series with Lady Sophia's Christmas Wish which I got free during a seasonal promotion. It was so well written and engaging that I sought out the next book Grace Burrowes had written and found this collection which features the three surviving sons of the Duke and Duchess of Moreland. The concept of "an heir and a spare" was unknown to me before reading these books, but makes sense in securing the succession to the dukedom. In this case, both the heir and the spare died leaving the third son in the position to inherit. All three sons are pressured by their father to marry and have sons of their own, though none of them are willing to marry to fulfill an obligation. Their parents had married for love and the sons wanted that relationship for themselves. How they managed to find wives they loved is at the heart of these stories which have many twists and turns, mysteries and suspense. All the characters are so well developed that I truly cared what happened to them and the dialogue was witty and warm. The books were well edited, a matter I take very seriously, and flowed along carrying me with them. The tension between characters and mystery surrounding each of the women kept me reading late into the night. I even found myself speaking with the rhythm and vocabulary of the characters when I wasn't reading! I've continued following the members of this family through several other books of the series and dread reading the last one because I know I will miss them. Fortunately there were ten children so I have several more books to read. I would recommend this series to anyone.

Compelling characters, well-developed relationships

I had these books on my Kindle for a while before I started reading them. And once I started, I couldn't stop. The three stories are about three brothers - and the relationships between the brothers was so sweet and tender that it made me really love them all. The female characters were strong and interesting. At times, I found myself frustrated with the characters' hesitations to embrace love, but as with all romance novels, it ended happily ever after for all of them. Highly recommended.

Hunt Slonem is an internationally recognized American painter, sculptor, and printmaker. His work has been exhibited in more than 350 galleries and museums worldwide, and is represented in over 100 museums, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim, The Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He exhibits regularly at both public and private venues around the world, and has received numerous honors and awards, including a MacDowell Fellowship and National Endowment for the Arts grant. He lives in New York City and Louisiana, where he has notably restored two important plantations.

A gallery in a book

Hunt Slonem's art has always looked great on the page but the painter and his publisher created an extraordinary collection of the artists' work with his latest book. The pacing of the book is like walking through a studio or artist's gallery. Over-sized reproductions of small paintings, photographed with the edges of ornate frames turn this illustrated keepsake (coffee table genre) on its ear. The packaging is as playful as Slonem's bunny renderings. There's a gold wash on cover, book mark, margins and inside pages. Very luxe and very visual. You'll want to savor and send it to friends.

Love Hunt Slonem's Bunnies & This Book!

I must admit that I'm a big fan of Hunt Slonem's work, his taste as well as his stylistic sensibility! I love the lines, energy, color, and vibrancy he puts into everything he does and the mystical quality it imparts. His houses and studio are living works of art as anyone who has been in one of them or seen them in his gorgeous books can attest.

But what is it about the bunnies that delight us so? Their simplicity is compelling--and this is a beautiful way to enjoy them en masse--as if we were at the latest Bunnies opening. In fact, the bunnies come alive in these pieces!

For people who love art and books, this is a joy to hold in one's hands and digest. For people who love Mr. Slonem's bunnies, this is a must have. It's definitely a wonderful addition to my library--and what a great gift! I highly recommend Bunnies.

This is a nice erotic short story

This is a nice erotic short story. I think it a good little beginning. I will admit that a bit much is going on and that a bit of editing could have been done, but nothing too much to take me out of reading it. Overall, very good little read to me.

In meiner Hausarbeit habe ich aufgezeigt, dass eine (drohende) Vernachl�ssigung zu massiven Beeintr�chtigungen und Sch�den der kindlichen Entwicklung f�hren kann. In einer Gesellschaft mit h�ufig unbest�ndigen Familienverh�ltnissen und vielen Beziehungsabbr�chen steigt die Gefahr einer emotionalen Vernachl�ssigung und die daraus resultierenden Folgesch�den beim Kind. Deshalb bestehen Wege und Erfordernisse der Hilfe und Pr�vention f�r V�ter, M�tter und Kinder mit einem Vernachl�ssigungsrisiko. Ein Kind kommt nicht mit einer Traumatisierung zur Welt, sondern nur mit dem Risiko und der M�glichkeit, eine zu entwickeln. Familien mit vielf�ltigen Problemen, sogenannten Risikofaktoren, in diversen Lebensbereichen ben�tigen Hilfeleistungen zur besseren Wahrnehmung ihrer Erziehungsverantwortung. Letztlich liegen bei Vernachl�ssigungen und emotionalen Misshandlungen unterschiedlich ausgepr�gte Konstellationen pers�nlicher biografischer Defizite der Eltern, aufgrund eigener Deprivation oder Gewalterfahrung, famili�re, sozial vererbte oder anderweitig gest�rte Bindungsf�higkeit, sowie ung�nstige soziale Faktoren wie Armut, Alkoholismus, berufliche und pers�nliche Hoffnungslosigkeit und soziale Isolation vor. Der individuellen Unterst�tzung in Vernachl�ssigungsfamilien kommt auf diese Weise eine gro�e Bedeutung zu. Die Kooperation unterschiedlicher Fachkr�fte ist signifikant f�r die Wirksamkeit der Hilfen. Die Vernachl�ssigungsproblematik von Kindern weist darauf hin, dass gesellschaftliche Strukturen und Rahmenbedingungen in Wechselbeziehung mit individuellen Ursachen einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die Entstehung von Vernachl�ssigung haben. One of the top two zombie genre stories

This series has had me absolutely spellbound ever since I started the first one. The characters are extremely well developed and unlike with most zombie novels, there are just enough characters to not overextend the story. Another great thing about the series is there is a good mix of strong male and female characters and the women in the series are strong and flawed enough to be believable so none of it feels forced. Lily who is one of the leaders in the story grows into her role as leader in a step by step fashion and witnessing her grow makes you care about the choices she makes. The villains in the series are bad to the bone and the author does not sugarcoat their brutality so the bad guys are just as believable as the good guys. This series along with the Mountain Man series are the best in the zombie genre but The Walking Dead series is pure zombies whereas The Mountain Man series includes some other zombified creatures outside of the human species. The Walking Dead Invasion is just as good as the other books in the series and I can only hope that this brilliant author continues on with another zombie novel series once this one is done.

Spoilers: Please help me understand

The book was okay. Not the best of the series. I'm really having a problem with the ending ,though. When Lillie flashes the beacon for the walkers to come to the truck, they all leave Tommy and go. So are we to believe only the trained walkers were the ones all over the harvester? Then, didn't the truck that Lillie and the Preacher were fighting in turn over? So how did she flip it back over,put him on the trailer, and drive it? I'm sorry to be so nit picky, but this is one of my favorite series and I just feel let down by the author.

I felt the writing went a little south in this one. I enjoy the alternative Woodbury story, but had enough of Reverend Jeremiah in the last book. How many times can Bonansinga use the term threadbare to describe someone's clothing?

Hoping the next one has a better story line.

I loved the section about relationships as it is more often ...

Even though I'm kind of biased on the author's work from reading Chicken Noodle Soup for the Soul in many of its incarnations this little book was different.I found it was more of a sectional stand-alone on just about any category you want to find the motivation to passionately ask about. I loved the section about relationships as it is more often than not a sore point for men like myself who try to find the"right" words in a personal situation.There are other areas I also plan to read and incorporate in the language of everyday life.if you want a "hokey" tome about meaning or a get rich quick fix steer away.If you want honest insight put it in your Amazon cart now!

If your looking for new information about the law of attraction or new information anywhere in or around that subject, you will not find it in this book. The book just has a lot of basic information about the law of attraction, nothing you can't find for free on the internet. I wanted to like this book, but it was the same information I had read and heard so many other places.

About the Author

Brook Drumm is the founder and CEO of Printrbot, Inc. Brook is an American maker who set out to start a side business in his garage. After a wildly successful kickstarter in 2011, Brook was catapulted to the white-hot intersection of crowdfunding, 3d printing and the exploding maker- culture. Printrbot is an example of what blood, sweat and tears can produce if you set your mind and heart on what you are passionate about.

James is a writer who lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife and two young sons. He has degrees in Industrial Engineering and English and enjoys making things, writing about those things, and training young makers. He has written over 25 books on a variety of subjects from LEGO robotics to Open Source software to building your own CNC machine and 3D printer.

Rick has code in brain, soldering iron in hand, Art Blakey blaring in the background... transforms techno babble into reality and is strangely fond of the ellipsis.

John Edgar Park is a producer at Disney Research. He has worked in animation production at Disney for ten years and has worked in computer graphics since 1994 at various companies, including IBM, Novalogic game studio, and Sony Pictures Imageworks. John was the host and co-writer of the Emmy Award nominated series Make: Television. He regularly demos his projects at Maker Faires, and builds and writes about technology projects for Make magazine and other places online and in print.

John Baichtal has written or edited over a dozen books, including the award-winning Cult of Lego (2011 No Starch Press), LEGO hacker bible Make: LEGO and Arduino Projects (2012 Maker Media) with Adam Wolf and Matthew Beckler, Robot Builder (Que 2014) and Basic Robot Building with LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 (Que 2012), as well as Building Your Own Drones (forthcoming from Que). His most recent book is Maker Pro (Maker Media 2014), a collection of essays and interviews describing life as a professional maker. John lives in Minneapolis with his wife and three children.

Brian Roe is a Tinkerer at heart and a Mechanical Designer by trade. His diverse career has led him down many interesting paths. He worked as a creature creator for Hollywood films, was part of a successful combat robot team for the show Battlebots, and I assisted with the design of the 3D cameras used for the film Avatar. Brian is currently working on The 10,000 Year Clock project for The Long Now Foundation along with engineering for Printrbot.

Nick served in the Marine Corps for eight years, after which he decided to go back to school and pursue a career in Electronics Engineering. He spent two years at Parallax Inc. as the lead developer of the Elev-8 Multi-rotor platform, before coming over to work on electronics at Printrbot Inc. He is a maker at heart, and enjoys tinkering and hacking on all size and shapes of electronics. If it ain't broken, you haven't tinkered enough!

Steven Bolin is currently working at Printrbot as a Production Manager and assists in the R&D department. He has always enjoyed working with his hands whether it be in construction or just projects around the house, so building and designing 3D printers has been an absolute joy. As a former Youth Pastor and father of 2 kids, he loves making and playing with toys, so 3D printing lends naturally to this hobby. Steven hopes to continue developing new product that incorporates 3D printing into everyday use.

Caleb Cotter works at Printrbot as an R&D Specialist. He's a maker with a passion for 3D printing and rapid prototyping. Realistic and achievable 3D Printing Projects! Simply lovable!

I bought this book by chance at B&N when I was casually browsing at the bookstore.
I simply looked at the list of projects and bought it just on that basis.
When I got home, I was shocked and pleased at the same time to find that this book was written for the Simple Metal 3D printer.
And co-incidentally, I own a Printrbot Simple Metal 3D printer.

I have earnestly began working on the projects and my 12 year old seems to be very interested in the most basic of the projects - the 3D printed Desk lamp. And I've become interested in the Raygun Pen Stand. We're currently very occupied in printing out the parts for these projects.

Regardless of the type of 3D printer you own, this is a great way to get started with 3D printing. The projects range from real simple to super complex, and I think that this gets an absolute novice the motivation needed to get on with 3D printing.

Fun projects making Toys, tools, and contraptions the 3D way

I had the opportunity to make several parts for IV pumps in my youth. All the equipment was expensive and complex.

I figured when the fad died down 3D printing would be mostly popular in producing cheap weapons.

Little did I know that a whole gadget industry would arise where the proletariat can have hands on fun?

Written by Brook Durum the founder and CEO of Printbot, Inc., This book has nice color pictures and instructions on creating projects from scratch. It has the sours for the materials and URL’s of interest.

Oh wait there is a cheap weapon; it is a 1950’ style Raygun Pen.
