Manish is a readers writer he has explained a very complex issue in very simple words which make the book readable by all age groups . The insight and correlation which Manish has provided makes it difficult to believe that it is his first block buster book as he has the makings of renound writer. The book is a must read as it helps us to understand the very basics of life and to understand each aspect of our living being much better. A book soon to be prescribed at various education and motivational institutions as we all can surely learn a lot from his insight and exceptionally good narrative. The Most Beautiful Tree in the World

This book was not in very good condition due to its age and the type of book and binding, and the fact that is definitely a well-loved and well-read book. And the seller did describe it accurately so I knew it would be in well-worn condition. This is a wonderful story about the process of how the Christmas tree arrives in Rockefeller Center in New York City each year. I bought it for my nephews and their families who live in NYC and have taken their young children to see the tree each year. This is a very difficult book to find, and I was thrilled to be able to get it from the seller at Amazon.

No obstante he observado que las personas que trabajan en esta disciplina, que han estudiado el PMBOK con alg�n detenimiento, no han logrado hacer la asimilaci�n apropiada de estos conceptos y, peor a�n, no logran diferenciar entre las necesidades de su realidad y el enorme bagaje de conceptos que el PMBOK les ofrece. En resumen, no logran adecuar lo que han estudiado a su realidad. Como una contribuci�n para corregir la situaci�n anterior he escrito este libro. Me he enfocado deliberadamente en los proyectos chicos y medianos, pues son la mayor�a en nuestra realidad. Para el aprendizaje he incluido algunos casos que permiten presentar la tem�tica de los proyectos con profundidad. Mala calidad de los gr�ficos

El libro es muy bueno, lastimosamente la calidad de los gr�ficos es mala. En tama�o normal los gr�ifcos son tan peque�os que no se entiende nada y al ampliarla tampoco se entiende nada pues se pixela.
Debo indicar que muchos de los gr�ficos contienen matrices importantes que al no poder leerlas hace que el lector se pierda la continuidad de la lectura.
Ojal� pudieran mejorar la calidad de todos los gr�ficos y volver a enviarme la nueva versi�n.

I always enjoy a book from Strobel, but this one is particularly enjoyable, being concise and to the point. He gives us the right amount of facts from the right scholars, so we can understand the recent arguments about the historical Jesus, come to reasonable conclusions, and remember the facts, so we can share them. Koalas and Wolves, Oh My!

Guard Wolf is a very pleasant read. It isn't kinky erotica, an edge of the seat suspense, a S. King horror wannabe, or filled with TDH (tall, dark and handsome) alpha males, of the paranormal division. Nor is it just about werewolves. Finally, praise be, the heroine doesn't repeat the same mistakes over and over.

So, what is it?

It is a tale about realish people, with real issues, who just happen to be shifters and who run into a little adventure ... when four baby puppies/werewolves are abandoned practically at the feet of our heroine (a KOALA-bear shifter!!!) who has a significant chronic medical condition and our hero, who was brutally neglected as a child and has never lived in a pack.

Besides the antics of two mature adults trying to babysit/watch 4 - that's four - 2-year-olds (any parent of more than one kid will empathize), Guard Wolf might, remotely, be described as a cozy, paranormal with issues, suspense story with a smidgen of romance. (At least, not so much romance that this male reviewer went screaming into the night.) Oh, there are fisticuffs a couple of times.

My disclaimer: I don't know the author, I bought the book (on KU), and I wasn't asked to review it.

Even better than the first!

Lauren Esker’s second offering in her Shifter Agents paranormal romance series is even better than the first. Two lonely people who both carry emotional scars come together when a boxful of abandoned shifter puppies/toddlers is found. Avery Hollen, is a wolf-shifter federal agent without a pack, who is both physically and emotionally scarred. Nicole Yates, is an Aussie social worker and koala shifter with emotional scars of her own. They work together, to try and find placement in a suitable foster home for the shifter babies and unravel the mystery of their parentage.

Avery’s wolf instincts are to bond with the shifter children, but he knows that their family needs to be found, and he can never have them as his pack. He is also falling for Nicole, wanting her as his mate. The danger to the babies, Avery, and Nicole escalates as the mystery behind the abandoned babies begins to unravel, leading to kidnappings, evil scientists, and terrible secrets.

I loved this story. Ms. Esker forges a strong sense of connection to her characters, who run the gamut from our emotionally wounded heroes who find solace in each other, to soulless evil, to comic relief (a klutzy intern who shifts into a jumping spider), to absolutely adorable (I want my own tumbling shifter puppies/babies), and more.

While the main characters from the first book appear in this story as minor characters, the story itself stands on its own, and there are no annoying cliffhangers. The editing, spelling, and grammar are superb. I found only one tiny typo. (FYI to Ms. Esker: the word “without” has letters transposed and is printed “iwthout”). I highly recommend this book, as well as the first one, “Handcuffed to the Bear.” And I can hardly wait for the third book, (tentative working title, “Snake Eyes”) to come out in spring 2016. Don’t miss out on this author’s work; her books are real “keepers” and you certainly can’t beat the current $0.99 cent price.

Absolutely entertaining!

Excellent writing. Fascinating main characters. I like that they were flawed, seriously, but perfect for each other. The story flowed exceptionally well, fast-paced action where it needed to be. The supporting characters were right on the edge of main characterization without being pushy. This was a really good story, but I'm wondering about the loose ends, Ashley, Jeremy and Dr. Evans. I hope they pop up in future stories with Dr. Evans' comeuppance on the same level as her crimes! No spoilers here.

Showing the value of individuals

I am actually the wife of the person named here . I am a children's librarian and read this storyto the children when it snows. It is one of my favorite picture books; the children enjoy it very much. The story is really quite philosophical--it shows the significance of a tiny snowflake who would otherwise be unnoticed. In fact ,the snowflake becomes the twinkle in the eye of the snowman. The illustrations are colorful, and are easy for very young children to "see." I love this story.

Twinkle, twinkle little snowflake- good things can happen

Students enjoyed the colorful illustrations. The story has a good message- dream big, and it may happen.... endearing story about the twinkle in someone's eye. Reinforces six sides to snowflakes, but age appropriate for young children. Well done

Slightly entertaining

I bought this without seeing it first and was disappointed. The story is about a snowflake who gets to ice skate (the adventure). I had hoped for something more informational on snowflakes, and I also thought the interaction with the 'mean' snowflake to be silly and unnecessary.

Dennis, founder of Maxim magazine, is one misunderstood mogul. He intended his previous book, How to Get Rich, to be ironic. Readers found it "inspirational," and he's back in the ring to make his point. Like the first book, this is another tongue-in-cheek "anti-self help manual, written to dissuade the majority of readers from making the attempt to acquire real wealth." He presents short meditations on motivation, rules of management, and conquering mental impediments. His wit is dry, and his advice ranges from thought provoking ("If you cannot treat your quest to get rich as a game—a silly game with serious rules—you will never be rich") to, more frequently, exceedingly silly ("You are a wild pig rooting for truffles. You are a weasel about to rip the throat out of a rabbit. You are an entrepreneur.")—but the crabby tone becomes grating. And since some of the content was repurposed from the original book, this collection, for all its entertainment value, ends up feeling slim and unfulfilling. Felix Dennis is the chairman of Dennis Publishing, which publishes The Week among many other magazines. He was the founder of Maxim, one of the most successful new magazines of the last decade. He has written several volumes of poetry that have been performed live onstage by the Royal Shakespeare Company. His other interests include breeding rare pigs, drinking French wine, collecting first edition books, and avoiding business meetings. He has homes in London, Stratford-upon-Avon, New York City, Connecticut, and the Caribbean island of Mustique.

One of the Top 3 most influential books I have ever read...

Hands down, the most influential book I ever read on having a wealth mindset. Changed my life. Felix Dennis tells it like it is, straight to the point. I love the short chapters as it made his wisdom even more memorable. I have this book with me everyday of my life. I turn to it when I feel resistance setting in from challenges in life and business. I can open it to any page and find the words I need to press on. It is one of my Top 3 most important books I have ever read...and I read at least a book every 2 weeks. The few dollars you will spend will go farther than most other investments you can make to help you achieve something extraordinary in life. I give this book my highest recommendation. Best Wealth Building Book I Own...

This is hands down the best book on building wealth I have found.

I've been through 50+ books ranging from wealth building, business, and biographies all the way to nebulous "self-help" tomes.

If you really want to make serious money. If you're actually willing to quit your day job and DO SOMETHING with your life. If you are done reading from authors who have never actually started a business. Then this book is for you.

If you enjoy your "good paying job with benefits" you might want to stick with something a bit more tame and less action-oriented.

If you're done screwing around and are currently starting your business (not "thinking about it") then BUY THIS BOOK NOW!

Irreverent, funny, sophisticated, blunt and with a great deal of credibility – Felix lays out exactly what it takes to earn lots of money. This is a no holds barred look at what you must do if you are truly serious about becoming filthy rich. Personally, that is not my goal in life, but I did learn a ton of great ideas to help me become wealthier, which I found extremely helpful.
