Used at Western Washington University around 2008. The class jumped around parts of this book and the bits we focused on were interesting.

Very informative, well-written book

This book was suggested to me because I wanted to learn about the time and place that my ancestors came from. This book is really well written, and it gave me some great insights into my ancestors lives. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to learn what I set out to learn.
